Due to redevelopment plans, Wilsons Auctions will be selling by unreserved public auction, the entire contents of the Minto Hotel in Edinburgh. The auction will take place on Tuesday 28th June, 11am, on site, at the hotel located at: 16-18 Minto Street, Edinburgh, Midlothian EH9 1RQ. 

The 125 year old property consists of 22 bedrooms, restaurant and bar facilities and an events suite and isn't a stranger to some famous faces who have passed it's doors over the years. Andy Goram, former Scotland international association goalkeeper got married in the hotel and Una McClean, the British actress and comedian met her future husband Russell Hunter there, according to The Scotsman paper. The hotel was also known for being the place where Rangers signed the controversial Scotland goalkeeper from Hibernian.
