£180,000 worth of seized 22ct gold going to be sold at Wilsons Auctions

Rolex watches, Porsche 911 cars and other luxury goods will also be auctioned – with no reserve!

A host of luxury goods, all seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act, will be going under the hammer during Wilsons Auctions’ Unreserved Government Auction on Thursday 26th March.

Starting at 6pm, all items will be sold to the highest bidder at the fall of the gavel and will include £180,000 worth of 22ct gold jewellery including necklaces, bracelets and earrings that were at the centre of a South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SERCOU) case.

Featured items will include a selection of Rolex watches as well as a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Land Rover Defender, private license plates and a selection of champagne.

Bidders will also have the chance to purchase private license plates, a selection of champagne by Louis Roederer Cristal, Laurent Perrier, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Perignon and Armand De Brignac, watches by Breitling, Audemars Piguet and Tag Heuer as well as a selection of prints and canvas artwork.

The auction will be accessible to everyone through various alternative bidding including Wilsons Auctions online LiveBid auction facility, phone bidding, commission bidding as well as physical bidding and highlights the wide range of items Wilsons Auctions has the ability to realise on behalf of its government and law enforcement clients.

Wilsons Auctions’ Government Sales Coordinator, Michael Streight said, “This month we have an impressive collection of luxury goods that will be going under the hammer on behalf of our government and law enforcement agency clients. For those with expensive taste, they can get their hands of some of the biggest names in the champagne world, not to mention the incredible 22ct gold jewellery along with the high-end watches, cars and much more.

“Wilsons Auctions is proud of the continuing work it carries out on behalf of its clients, making luxury goods that have been seized from criminals, more accessible to all bidders. And with all items going under the hammer with no reserve, it is a great opportunity for bidders to buy high-value items for an affordable price while the money raised ultimately goes back into the public purse, ultimately supporting the victims of crime or local community initiatives, “ he added.
