Wilsons Auctions selected by Ballsbridge College to support the next generation of auctioneers

Our Dublin branch will be welcoming apprentice auctioneers over the coming weeks to experience auctions first-hand

Wilsons Auctions has been selected as the training auction complex of choice by Ballsbridge College, to allow its apprentices to gain hands-on experience while completing their QQI Advanced Certificate in Auctioneering and Property Services Level 6.

The college course offers students a two-year ‘earn and learn’ advanced certificate programme, combining on-the-job training with academic study and Wilsons Auctions’ Dublin branch will be offering support by welcoming the students into the branch, allowing them to see the preparation phase of an auction as well as the auction itself.

The students will be coming into the branch throughout November and by gaining a full understanding of our busy auction complex will allow them to hit the ground running as soon as they are qualified as they embark in their career.

During their time at Wilsons Auctions, the students will develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary for a successful career in estate agency, property management and property letting. The apprentices will be supported by our Dublin property team, Celia Lamb, Juliet Gethin and Ricky Wilson as well as a structured programme of on-the-job training and development.

As the largest independent auction company in Ireland and the UK, Wilsons Auctions understands the importance of playing a role in nurturing the next generation of auctioneers to allow for further growth across the industry.

As a result, we are delighted to be supporting the students from Ballsbridge College and wish them every success in their studies.
