Wilsons Auctions makes impact for HOPE 365

Wilsons Auctions provided a huge collection of household goods to Northern Ireland based charity, HOPE365. Items included toys, bedlinen, cushions, curtains, electrical goods and books, and the donation will benefit not only individual children, but also the communities in which they live.

HOPE 365 rescue Street Kids in Ethiopia. The charity organisation aims to provide for the physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs of all of the children who they come into contact with.

The charity operates two charity shops – one in Ballyclare and one in Antrim, in additional to a dedicated furniture warehouse.

Hope365 CEO Michael Holmes commented “We really appreciate the generosity of Wilsons Auctions in donating the huge amount of items to us. We can turn every item into funds for the extremely vulnerable children we work with in Shashemene, Ethiopia.”

Craig Walker, Contracts Director at Wilsons Auctions said, “We believe that it is vital to help others where we can. It is fantastic that Wilsons Auctions can donate and support this charity. I know it will be very much appreciated.”

Reece Morrison, Disposal Operative at Wilsons Auctions (pictured) commented, “The partnership has really developed this summer and HOPE365 have been great to work with. The collection donated includes popular products and brands – anyone would be extremely grateful for these items!”
