Our Unreserved Government Auction is preparing to set sail this month with the Tacabanda II, an 11-metre yacht, set to go under the hammer along with a range of luxury goods at its Belfast branch from 7pm on Thursday 25th May.

The Tacabanda II, which is currently located at Wilsons Auctions Maidstone branch, will feature in the monthly auction along with two BMW X5 cars and a BMW X6 as well as a range of designer watches from Rolex and Frank Muller to Audemars Piguet and Cartier.

We will manage the disposal of over 100 Lots during the May monthly auction including a range of property located around the UK, Ireland and across Europe. All items will be sold as seen to the highest bidder and will be available to a worldwide audience through Wilsons Auctions online bidding facility, LiveBid.

The auction will also feature a range of gold and diamond jewellery, designer handbags and shoes from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Fendi and Mulberry.

Wilsons Auctions’ Group Asset Recovery Manager, Aidan Larkin said, “Each month our Unreserved Government Auction offers a dynamic range of luxury goods which proves very attractive for customers wishing to purchase high quality goods for an affordable price. Our May auction is no exception with a range of designer goods, watches, cars, a yacht as well as over 20 properties from across the UK, Ireland and Europe set to go under the hammer with no reserve.

“Wilsons Auctions is proud to facilitate government auctions each month. The role we play in realising these important assets is vital to our clients as well as the process in raising the money which ultimately goes straight back into the public purse. In recent years we have been responsible for returning in excess of £80 million to government coffers. Items include government repossessed assets, proceeds of crime related assets as well as corporate liquidation stock, all of which are sold to the highest bidder with no reserve,” he added.

A family owned business, Wilsons Auctions was formed in 1936 in Northern Ireland and has grown to become the largest independent Auction Company in the British Isles with sites in the Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.

Wilsons Auctions is more than just an auction company, managing the whole asset realisation process for private and public sector and law enforcement agencies across the UK and Ireland.
