COVID-19 Information

Wilsons Auctions has been monitoring the advice in relation to COVID-19. The welfare of our staff, customers and vendors is our utmost priority.

We plan to conduct auctions on a regular basis in a safe manner and have a plan in place to ensure minimal disruption to the services we offer whilst continually following government advice.

Although our auction halls are large open spaces and airy, we feel it is important to highlight the range of alternative bidding options at our auctions. These include:

LiveBid

Online bidding is available via ‘LiveBid’, enabling you to watch auctions live and interact with the auctioneer real-time.  A link to register for online bidding is available in each auction listing or by clicking Register in the My Account section at the top of any page on our website.

Online

We continue to offer a regular range of timed auctions online. These auctions are open to everyone and are simple to use. Our new Click & Collect service has streamlined the process further.

Phone

By phoning the branch hosting an auction prior to its commencement you will be able to request to bid by phone. Once bidding begins, we will talk you through the bids as they progress and ask you at each stage if you wish to continue. This will carry on until you are successful or tell us that you want to stop bidding.

Commission Bids

Prior to an auction, you can leave your highest bid, in writing, with one of our team and this will be communicated to the auctioneer prior to the auction start time. The auctioneer will bid on your behalf and will only use the amount required to top the opposing bidder.

Should you require any help registering for any of these alternative bidding options please contact any of our branches and our staff will be happy to help.

Wilsons Auctions has increased cleaning and sanitisation processes throughout our branches and is supplying the appropriate cleaning supplies. If you are visiting any of our branches, please use the hand sanitiser and washing facilities provided.

We politely request that anyone who feels unwell with a fever or flu-like symptoms avoids attending our auction centres.

We will continue to follow government advice in the days ahead and thank you all for your cooperation.
