A Bid for Kindness continues…

Today saw the Knighthood of Captain Tom Moore by the Queen at Windsor Castle and Wilsons Auctions have a special piece of memorabilia to commemorate this inspirational man.

A unique painting by Scottish Artist Craig Campbell of ‘Captain Tom Moore’ was donated by the artist to 'A Bid for Kindness Auction' which Wilsons Auctions held on 1st May 2020 as an online virtual auction.

Ian Wilson, Managing Director, purchased the painting and will now display it across all the Wilsons Auctions' branches for customers to have their picture taken beside with the hope that customers will make a donation to charity.

Ian Wilson comments “Throughout this global pandemic so many charities worked tirelessly to continue to provide their vital services to the most vulnerable in society. We started the “Bid for Kindness” initiative to help raise some much needed funds to them.”

Streamed across the Wilsons Auctions online bidding platform to bidders around the world, the inaugural live virtual charity auction raised over £45,000.
